About Mauldin, SC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Mauldin, SC was named in 1820, however, lost the majority of its population during the Civil War and did not regain its status as a town until 1957. Then, soon after regaining its township, Mauldin’s status was promoted to city status in 1969. Today, the city is just over 20,000 residents, and that number continues to grow. While a relatively small city, Mauldin has proven itself to be an ideal location for businesses to settle. Some of the businesses that call this upstate city home include Bi-Lo, with their headquarters in Mauldin, and CF Sauer, which produces the famous Duke’s Mayonnaise. Mauldin’s easily accessible location near I-385 and I-85, combined with its temperate climate, make it an ideal place for companies to relocate.
Because of its size, Mauldin does not offer nearly as many amenities as the nearby cities of Greenville and Spartanburg, but it does offer a strong community feel. Residents and visitors have access to the walking trails and sports fields at the city’s three parks, including the wheelchair softball field at Sunset Park. All of the parks stay busy during the mild winters and warm, sunny summers. Visitors can also take advantage of seeing the annual hot air balloon festival, MauldinFest, a unique and family-friendly activity held every year in September
